Healer and Support Families¶
Healers and supports should be judged by the problem they solve, not only by weapon label.
Healer families¶
| Healer family | Main job | Example function |
|---|---|---|
| Burst / emergency healer | stabilize sharp damage and endangered clumps | big danger-area healing, targeted saves |
| Sustain / HoT healer | keep the zerg active through long fights | route support, flank healing, recovery after pressure |
| Pocket / targeted healer | keep a specific high-value player alive | caller, tank, or exposed support saving |
Support families¶
| Support family | Main job | Example function |
|---|---|---|
| Damage mitigation | help the zerg survive incoming damage | shields, resistances, reduction windows |
| Mobility support | help the zerg move through danger | cleanse, speed, route support |
| Enemy disruption | weaken or delay enemy plans | purge, interrupt, slow, stop, displacement |
Lesson¶
A strong healer/support package covers more than one problem. It should help the zerg survive sharp damage, keep moving, stabilize after pressure, and answer enemy engage paths.
