First CTA Checklist¶
Use this page to choose a few habits for your first fights. It is not a gear checklist; it is a field-behavior checklist.
Pick one job to practice¶
Before content starts, choose one focus based on your role:
| Role family | First useful focus |
|---|---|
| Ranged DPS | stay close enough to hit the turn without clumping |
| Melee DPS | enter only when the window and exit are real |
| Healer | heal the danger area, not only the safest party frames |
| Support | place defensive value on real pressure, not safe space |
| Tank | control the enemy path before damage lands |
| Scout / info | report movement that changes the caller's next decision |
Before the fight starts¶
- Know which side of the zerg your role usually supports.
- Identify the nearest choke, wall, door, corner, or escape route before the fight begins.
- Decide what you are watching: enemy name tags, healer range, tank line, caller position, or route safety.
- Keep enough spacing that one enemy bomb does not hit you and three allies at once.
During the fight¶
- Move to useful space; do not only move away from danger.
- If the enemy spends major cooldowns and you are alive, prepare to pressure or counter instead of panic-running.
- Use defensives early enough to matter, but do not dump them into safe space.
- Keep doing your small job between big calls: Q/W pressure, healing coverage, peel, scouting, interrupts, or spacing.
After the fight¶
Ask one question first:
Where should I have been five seconds before the mistake?
Then pick one habit to practice next CTA. Do not try to fix everything at once.
